Tigers Pitcher Daniel Norris Homers Against The Cubs

It's been a disappointing season for the Detroit Tigers.There have been a few bright spots.  One of those is their young pitcher Daniel Norris. He was the big name that came over in the trade for David Price last month.  

In the game last night, he homered in his first major league at bat off of Cubs starter Jon Lester. He eventually left the game with a right oblique strain which will put him on the disabled list.

It is disappointing that he will be out for awhile, but I'm excited about his future in Detroit.  If you missed his home run last night it was a two run blast to center field.
