Luke Blanock had a wedding no one will soon forget.

The 18-year-old from Canonsburg, Penn. who has terminal cancer, married his high school sweetheart, Natalie Britvich, last Friday. About 200 people attended the wedding, with nearly everything donated by people in the community.

Luke's grandmother was blown away by his attitude. She said, "He said, 'I'm not marrying Natalie to make her a widow. I'm marrying Natalie to spend 50 years with her.' And that’s great. That's how it should be."

Luke was a star athlete in high school before doctors diagnosed him with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer, back in 2013.

He endured over 14 rounds of chemotherapy and 31 radiation treatments before going into remission. Doctors, though, said the cancer returned this past December and it was terminal. Last month, Luke proposed. Despite all he had been through, he managed to walk down the aisle.

Ashley Cyprowski helped plan the wedding and said, "We got a ton of donations. The flowers, the reception hall itself, just a lot of people came together from our local community and donated their time, their services, and their goods. With all their medical expenses they don't have a lot to spend on something like this. I've never seen the family as happy as they were that day. Luke was so high energy, he was just glowing."
