Vintage Revived in Springfield – Unique Finds and Great Deals
I have a weakness for all things antique. I love breathing new life in to a unique piece of furniture, hanging bygone artworks, or marrying a new-to-me lampshade with the other bits and baubles I've collected over the years. When I heard about Vintage Revived in Springfield, I couldn't wait to check it out.
In July of 2017, owner Ed Hiscock opened Vintage Revived as a one stop shop for all things antique, vintage, architectural salvage, mid-century, primitive, and up-cycling. Joanie Melekian, volunteer up-cycler/restorer for Vintage Revived, said, "The store is the essence of small town, local business. Ed is the most helpful, knowledgeable man. Negotiable on prices, and constantly bringing in new inventory."
She went on to say that Hiscock is a gifted restorer, himself. "He makes headboards, or farmhouse dining tables out of old doors, or repairs antique dressers by replicating a missing drawer face. Yes, he’s that good!"
Open on Wednesday through Friday from noon to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm, they're opening their doors for twelve hours on Friday, November 23rd, for Black Friday, with incredible bargains store-wide from 7am to 7pm. So, if you've got an antique lover on your list, or you just like to browse blasts from the past, you won't be disappointed. Treasures abound at Vintage Revived.
