W. Michigan City Ranked #1 In Business Start Ups

I always say: the West side is the Best side and it's true once again; this time in the area of business.  Every week on the Rocker Morning show Emily from On Staff tells us just how many jobs are available in West Michigan.  It's seems that there are always around 500 openings which means we don't have an unemployment problem, we have an employment problem.

So it comes as no surprise that a city on the West side, the best side, has been ranked the #1 place to start a business.  And that city is Holland.   wallethub.com compared 1200 smaller cities across 18 key metrics.  The data set ranges from average growth in number of small businesses to investor access to labor costs and the best according to that criteria, that I don't even begin to understand, the best is Holland, MI.  In addition, wallethub.com says Kentwood, MI has the most affordable office spaces at an annual rate of $9.06 per square foot, which is 6 times lower that the most expensive small city in America.  Get the rest of the story by clicking HERE.
