The Yankees lost to the A's last night, but the highlight of the night turned out to be a record breaking throw by Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks.

According to Fox Sports, Hicks throw was clocked at 105.5 mph.  That is the fastest throw ever recorded by MLB's Statcast.

That throw breaks the previous record of 103.1 mph set last year by Carlos Gomez. Hicks almost broke it last year as well when he unloaded a throw at 103.07 mph.

After that throw, I doubt we will ever see another player try to score on him.
