College Football fans have their chants and fight songs that are chanted or performed through out a game. Recently the fans in Gainesville, Florida honored their hometown legend Tom Petty during their loss to LSU.

Tom Petty passed away last week and to honor Tom the fans sang, "I Won't Back Down" late in the game.

It was a loss for the gators, but the fans honored their hometown legend with a great tribute which you can see below. Could this performance become a regular game tradition for them?
