Watch Rangers Pitcher Make A Behind The Back Catch For A Double Play

Just in the past month there have been some great catches by pitchers in Major League Baseball.  Last night in a game between The Angels and Rangers, pitcher Nick Martinez made a great behind the back catch to turn a double play.

According to MLB.com, the play happened in the 5th inning.  This catch is very similar to one that former Tigers, current Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer made recently.

There was also a great play by Indians pitcher Zach McAllister a week later.

Some great plays that should be in the conversation for the plays of the year.

We will see if any of these pitchers make an impact in the playoffs as all of them should see time for their teams.
