Welcome Back Stephen Weiss

When the Red Wings signed Stephen Weiss as a free agent at the beginning of last season I thought it was a great move.  He played a few games before suffering through sports hernia  and missed most of the year.  Then this season started off with a groin injury.  I along with many fans wondered if he would ever do anything for the Wings. Last nights game was a good sign. He scored two goals, also picked up his 400 career point playing the wing with Darren Helm and Tomas Jurco, in the Red Wings 4-3 win over Ottawa.  It's too early to tell if he is all the way back, but this is a great sign.  Let's hope we see more of the Stephen Weiss the Wings thought they had when they signed him.
