Detroit has a historic music legacy that is still thriving today.  The Detroit Free Press is looking to determine Detroit's 100 greatest songs.

They are asking for you to vote on the 100 greatest songs of Detroit.  The best of the best homegrown songs.

Many Detroit legends are on the ballot from the various legendary artists of Motown to Bob Seger, Kid Rock, Eminem and Ted Nugent.  Even forgotten bands like Frijid Pink, The Frost, The MC5 and SRC are there.

So many classic songs to choose from so if you want to let your voice be heard head to the Detroit Free Press to make your choices.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the deadline to vote is on April 25th.   The list will be revealed weekly through July 16th when the Top Ten will be unveiled by Don Was and handpicked Detroit artist at an Orchestra Hall  concert.
