What Is The “Must See” In D.C.?

As you may have heard, I will be on Saturday's Talons Out Honor Flight taking WWII and Korean War veterans to the memorials in Washington D.C.  To say I'm excited for the honor and the opportunity would be putting it mildly.  I'm also getting a little sentimental about my dad who passed away in 2010.  He was a WWII vet who told me many stories about him and the rest of the greatest generation who fought with him.

The last couple days, though, a lot of people have been asking me what else I was going to see.  This is my first time in our nation's capital so I thought I'd throw it out there.  Of course we'll check out the White House but for those of you who've been there before, what other sites should I make sure I see?
