Merriam-Webster has brought you a wonderful way to waste time at work today. They have created a "time traveler" search. Input the year you were born and see a list of some words that were created in that year. For instance, if you were born in 1960, "arcade game," "cockamamy," "doofus," "hate crime," and "junk food" have been around as long as you have. 1982? "AIDS," "alt-rock," "barista," "poutine," "Shiba Inu,"  and "Valley Girl". That was a very strange year. So, what about you? What words share your birth year? Click here to find out!
