Where’s the R O C K In The AMAs?
What year is this??? Haven't they learned anything??? They being the powers that be who decide on the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame, the People's Choice Awards and, the latest SHAM, The American Music Awards!!! Talk about the worst piece of crap list in the history of music. Check it out below. Or should I say blow. But even more of a travesty, there are no Rock acts anywhere on the list of nominees; including the Rock categories!!! Wait... I meant the Pop/Rock categories!!! Rock doesn't even get it's own category!!! And by the way, how can you have a "Pop/Rock" category??? It's like a "Fire/ Water" category!!! Ok. Bad example but you know what I mean. Do we need another "Tull" Grammy Awards moment to wake everyone up again? I know, I know. I'm being naive when in actuality the AMAs are a show, not an awards show, designed to get as many viewers as possible. So what do these "taste makers" have against Rock? I could take even more of your time to sight all the reasons why Rock should have a more prominent place on this craptastic show but I would be wasting all of that precious time. Use it to ROCK!!!
