Just in time for the much anticipated sequel to The Incredibles,  CableTV.com just released a survey of each state's favorite Pixar film. And Michigan can't get enough of Finding Dory, the followup to 2003's Finding Nemo. Finding Dory was the most popular Pixar movie in seventeen states, making it the most popular Pixar movie in the country.

Celebrating 23 years of creating animated movies that bridge the comedic gap between child and adult, Pixar has produced 20 full-length major motion pictures starting with the groundbreaking Toy Story in 1995. Interestingly, only one state, Florida, chose the original Toy Story as it's favorite Pixar film. It's sequel claimed favorite in three states (Alaska, Montana, and Louisiana), with the third installment being most loved by Iowa, Indiana, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Personally, I think that Inside Out is their best, and possibly most important, work to date. Of course, with a 13-year gap between Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, and a 14-year gap between The Incredibles and The Incredibles 2, I'm in for a long wait for that followup. I can be patient.
