For as long as I can remember, I have watched The Grammy Awards.  The show is tonight and for the first time ever I am not going to watch it live.

The nominees don't excite me and the performances don't stand out either.   I will give the Grammy people a little bit of credit for adding some tribute performances.

According to the Grammys, there will be a Lemmy tribute with Alice Cooper and The Hollywood Vampires and  a tribute to Glenn Frey, featuring the surviving Eagles and Jackson Browne.   David Bowie will be remembered by Lady Gaga.

There will also be a tribute to B.B King,  featuring Bonnie Raitt and Gary Clark Jr.

All of these performances will make the show a little more interesting for me, but I still think I will pass on watching it live.   I have set my DVR and will forward to the best performances.

Will You Be Watching?
