Last week Western Michigan Football announced their plans to hold an open practice instead of a spring game.   Now that practice is moving indoors and will be close to the public.

According to M-Live, the practice instead of being at Waldo Stadium and open to the public, will now be indoors and only open to student athletes families and Gary fund members.

The weather this weekend is suppose to be cooler and not ideal for a spring practice.  Fans who wanted to get an early look at the team will have to wait until August when the team will hold Fan Fest at Waldo Stadium.

That event will take place on August 11th and will feature a scrimmage, skill challenges and much more.

The Broncos will try to improve on their 2017 record which was 6-6 and 4-4 in the Mid American Conference.

They will open their 2018 season August 31st at Waldo Stadium against the Syracuse Orange.   Click here for the team's full schedule for the 2018 season.
