As the Joe Louis Arena closes it's doors for good, the WWE had one last event in the old arena over the weekend.

The WWE has had a long history with the arena in Detroit. To say goodbye to the Joe, they released a short video highlighting some of the historic matches and events that happened at the arena in downtown Detroit.

It wasn't featured in this video but one of the more memorable moments from the Joe Louis Arena is when The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin took on The N.W.O. (Hall, Nash and Hulk Hogan).

It wasn't the most memorable match but to see all of these iconic characters all in the ring at the same time it was classic.   That event was apart of a Monday Night Raw from March of 2002 that I was lucky enough to have seen live.

The Joe has closed it's doors but we await the brand new Little Caesars Arena which will feature it's first event with Kid Rock on September, 12th.
