Detroit Youth Choir To Sing At Halftime At Lions’ Home Opener
Detroit Youth Choir which have made headlines all year long with their incredible performances on
America's Got Talent keep getting bigger and bigger. It's been announced by the Detroit Lions organization that the Detroit Youth Choir will perform at Halftime at
Ford Field during the
Lions' home opening game next Sunday the 15th, when they take on the Chargers.
On Aug. 27, the DYC performed once again for
America’s Got Talent in the quarterfinal round,performing a stirring rendition of “The Champion,” by Carrie Underwood and Ludacris. Their well known combo of singing and choreographed dancing got them another standing ovation from the audience and judges. Simon Cowell even told choir director Anthony White that they were “actually better tonight than your first audition.” Big things keep happening for this group of kids. Viewers can vote for the DYC to advance through the quarterfinals with the “America’s Got Talent” app off of itunes or Google Play.
