Join the Portage Department of Public Safety for the annual Pig Out with Public Safety. This FREE back-to-school event provides kids with backpacks and school supplies needed for the upcoming school year. Enjoy a traditional summer cookout, your favorite local magician Brian Penny, face painting, games and much more! This event is free and no registration is required.
The Department of Public Safety is currently collecting K-8 school supplies (pencils, colored pencils, markers, rulers, etc.) for this event. Supplies can be delivered to the lobby of the Police Division at 7810 Shaver Road by Friday, August 16.
