The Western Michigan Bronco Football teams is just one more victory away from completing its greatest MAC season ever, and two away from the team's greatest season ever. This after they put 55 points up on a very good Toledo Rocket team that came is with a 9-2 record.

The Broncos should be able to savor the 55-35 win for a few hours before beginning preparations for this coming Friday's big game against the East division champion Ohio University Bobcats, at Ford Field in Detroit.

Among the things to celebrate, wide receiver Corey Davis became the leader in receiving yardage in FBS division history. Davis finished his regular season career with 5,068 yards. ESPN's draft expert Mel Kiper has him listed at the third best receiver in next spring's NFL draft.

5 Things to Know about the 2016 MAC Championship Game

Here are five things you need to know as the Broncos attempt to put an exclamation point on this remarkable MAC season:

1. The game is Friday night, Dec, 2nd at Ford Field in Detroit. Tickets are on sale right now. Either through the Bronco website or 1-888-4-WMU-TIX.

2. Purchase tickets on the north side of Ford Field to sit with fellow WMU Bronco fans.

Admission to the Stampede tailgate will go on-sale online after the game against the Toledo Rockets on November 25 at wmubroncos.com/tickets. If space is still available on the following Monday to Thursday, people can also drop by or call the WMU Ticket Office at (888)-4-WMU-TIX to purchase admission. There is no ticket to the tailgate. Names will be added to a guest list and there will be a check-in table within the Gate C Concourse at Ford Field. Game tickets and tailgate admission are sold separately.

5.How to watch the game if you're not at Ford Field: Not everyone can go to the game and tailgate. The game will be on ESPN2.  There will be watch parties all over West Michigan. WMU recommends going to a Watch Party if you can't find a place to watch the MAC Championship Game.
