“Heathers” Off-Broadway

Greetings and Salutations, fans of late-80s dark comedies!  Heathers, the movie that made croquet, shoulder pads, and Shannen Doherty cool, is being made in to an off-Broadway musical, developed by composer Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde the Musical) and writer Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness musical).  If this were in the hands of anyone else, I might not give it a second thought, but if anyone is going to be able to capture the sadistic snark of this film, these guys will.  All I have left to do is get tickets... and time off in March... and a way to New York... but, you know, everything else is set.
