Help A 9 Year Old Girl Who Lost Her Mom

Brenda Page, the manager of Woody's Goodies in Gobles, needs our help.  She lost a friend and co-worker Crystal Norton who was killed on January 9th by a 17 year old unlicensed, uninsured driver the day after her daughter’s 9^th birthday.Her boss, Jeff Wood, a longtime loyal listener of WRKR, is sponsoring a 4 person Golf Scramble in Crystal’s name to raise money for a trust fund for her daughter.  They would like to make this an annual event if there is enough support.  However, the very first is low on golf teams.  The event is Saturday at Shamrock Hills golf Course. The cost is $50 to sponsor a hole, $60/person or $240/4 person team.  There will be prizes, raffle and silent auction as well as a pig roast.  Contact Brenda at 269-720-3535.
