Employee Dies After Accident At Stellantis Plant In Michigan

Stellantis Employee Dies in Accident At Michigan Facility

Stellantis has manufacturing facilities in several states and countries including here in Michigan. Unfortunately, Stellantis has found themselves in the middle of some horrible news and an interesting situation. A Stellantis employee tragically lost their lives while working a shift and the incident is now under investigation.

Officials are investigating a deadly incident that occurred at the Dundee Stellantis Engine Plant in Monroe County. Stellantis and local authorities are working to figure out what caused the unidentified employee to lose their life on Monday morning. Very little information has been given at this time about what occurred during the fatal accident.

Stellantis released the following statement in response to the situation:

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends and coworkers of a Dundee Engine Plant employee who was involved in a fatal workplace accident this morning. The Company is currently working with local authorities to investigate the incident. Out of respect for the family, we are not confirming the identity of the employee at this time. Counseling services will be available for Dundee Engine Plant employees.
