My First Scorsese Documentary

Martin Scorsese is known as a legendary director.  "Raging Bull", "Mean Streets", "Goodfellas" just to name a few.  He was also the director of one of the greatest Music Documentaries ever filmed, "The Last Waltz". His birthday is today and I remembered the first time I saw a music documentary of his.  It wasn't "The Last Waltz" it was the Rolling Stones "Shine A Light".   We had passes to the film so I figured, "It's The Stones I'll check it out".

I have never seen the Stones live or have seen any of the other films so didn't really know what to expect.  I enjoyed the film.  It was filmed while the Stones played at the Beacon Theater on the Bigger Bang Tour back in 2006.  I feel that if I never get to see the Stones live,in a way I did with this Documentary it was that cool. If Your a Stones fan you have probably seen it.  If you like Scorsese or Rock Documentaries you should check it out.
