The History Channel has released a promo video for Ozzy Osbourne's new program with his son, Ozzy & Jack's World Detour. Check it out above, as you get set for the show's premiere at 10 PM ET on Sunday (July 24).

The pair, who earlier starred together in MTV's The Osbournes, aren't delving into family issues so much as those found in dusty old books – but with a twist. They've promised travels from Roswell, N.M., to Stonehenge in England on a journey to uncover history's more offbeat stories – from ghosts to cannibalism to aliens.

"It was a combination of the production team, my dad, and I sitting around kind of throwing out ideas and places," Jack Osbourne told Entertainment Weekly. "And it’s very much in the vein of a bucket-list type show. We go to the places you’ve always wanted to go, but you’ve always flown over. It kind of blossomed from that."

They begin this weekend with a stop at Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg, in Virginia. "For me, I’m really fascinated by the people that do all the re-creation and reenactment stuff," Jack added. "And so I heard about Colonial Williamsburg, which is a town run and operated like it’s 1770, so I was like we kind of have to go there, and it just somehow happened to be right down the street from Jamestown, which is fascinating within itself because it’s basically the birth [place] of the United States and also with the British Empire, so there’s a good crossover."

Ozzy shot Ozzy & Jack's World Detour even as Black Sabbath were in the midst of a series of shows that promise to be their last. Dates are confirmed through February 2017, with a stop at the band's birthplace in Birmingham, England.
