Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the passing of the legendary Freddie Mercury of Queen and Eric Carr of Kiss.   What Can I say that hasn't already been said about Freddie? One of the greatest voices to ever grace the world of Rock.  One of those artist that on occasion I will go back and listen to many of his recordings with Queen.  I never got into his solo work but he was gold no matter what he did.

Eric Carr I feel is really underrated.  He had the job of replacing Peter Criss.  He also had to replace Peter on "Music from The Elder".   He appeared on all of the Kiss albums from the 80's and if you have never listened to it, his best was his drumming on "Creatures of the Night".

Grab your favorite Queen Album and 80's era Kiss and remember the work that these guys help create.
