Battle Creek Bombers

Another former Battle Creek Bombers (now BattleJacks) has made it to the major leagues. The Northwoods League is a collegiate summer league, and both Battle Creek and Kalamazoo have teams in the league. But one category where Battle Creek leads Kalamazoo is former players to have made it to "The Show", the Major League.

The votes have been counted and Battle Creek's baseball team is ready to announce its new name!

Baseball in "The Mitten" in 2020 has been silent with the contention between owners and players in the Majors, Minor League Baseball on hold, and the lone Michigan team in the Great Lakes Collegiate Summer League from Muskegon waiting another year due to its cancellation.

The Battle Creek Bombers had a tough start to the 2018 season and the highlights have been minimal. One highlight made national news in a game the Bomb Squad would lose.

I've been to a bunch of baseball game's both Major League and Minor League and haven't experienced what I saw Sunday Night.  My Wife and I went to see the Battle Creek Bombers vs the Madison Mallards at C.O. Brown Stadium.
