Kalamazoo Shootings

Five years. It doesn't seem possible it's been five years. The unthinkable happened five years ago. February 20th, 2016. Jason Dalton killed six people, injured two others. For his crime, he's been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison. We now know this horrible night simply as the Kalamazoo Shootings.

At a candlelight vigil Monday evening, a permanent memorial facility to honor the Kalamazoo Shootings one year ago was announced.

The Kalamazoo FC Soccer Team is dedicating their final game of the season to the family of the teen killed in the Kalamazoo shootings in February.

Dashcam footage was released Monday, May 2, by the Kalamazoo City Attorney's Office.

Gazelle Sports is holding a special edition of the weekly running group to raise money for the families of victims affected by the Kalamazoo shootings.

A service of remembrance and candlelight vigil was held for the victims of the Kalamazoo shooter.

According to a press release,  A town hall meeting will be held at 7 p.m. tonight in the Bernhard Center's East Ballroom so Western Michigan University can respond to questions about its emergency notification guidelines as well as seek additional input from the campus community about them.

U.S. and Michigan flags are to be flown at half-staff for 6 days to honor those killed in Kalamazoo.
