Pop Evil

Thanks to everyone who came out to Wild Bull to hang with the guys from Pop Evil for an acoustic night.  It was a blast, and band sounded better than ever.  There was even some talk about a possible acoustic album in the future.  Fingers crossed; I really dug the simpler, stripped-down Pop Evil I saw last night...

Out of my three list that I put together for 2015, this one was the easiest.  It was easy because I only really listened to a handful of new releases this year.  It was mostly older albums for me through out this year.

Lots of great songs were released here in 2015.   I always have a hard time coming up with these list.  I did my best and narrowed it down to five songs.

There have been lots of new music releases of late. If you are looking for some new music to check out two of my current favorites have been, The Hollywood Vampires and Pop Evil's latest "Up".

Chachi from Pop Evil stopped by the studio this morning to hang out and play us some brand, spanking new Pop Evil tunes.

Our very own local boys done good, Pop Evil, are wasting no time getting back in the studio after a lengthy tour promoting their last album, Onyx.

The glint of tinsel. The roar of a fire. And Michigan's sons back for the holidays! Pop Evil is set to kick off their next tour, "Set in Stone," next month in Bloomington, Illinois, but have no fear, they won't forsake the mitten.  The band is making TWO stops in Michigan on this tour; December 3rd in Battle Creek at The Music Factory, and Grand Rapids at The Intersection on December 20t
