It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Retro on Westnedge in Kalamazoo has closed it's doors for good. The storefront is empty, and the website's official statement states, quote, "Retro is Retired~! Thanks to everyone that supported our store over the years~! We are sold out and not purchasing new stock."

Tom Holmer, co-owner of Rocket Fizz Kalamazoo ran in to a crazy problem. People kept approaching him and asking when the store was going to open. "It's been open for months!" he would reply. And that got him thinking... how many people don't know they're open? Why not hold a 3 1/2 Month-aversary to get the word out? What a whimsical idea for such a whimsical place!
