Revolutionary War

Yesterday marked the anniversary of the start of the Revolutionary War.  Two opposing forces were lined up in Lexington, staring each other down, and getting twitchy with their trigger fingers.  Neither party really wanted to have to go to war; after all, the Americans didn't have the troops nor the money for a militia, and the Brits thought it would be a waste of time...

Time capsules are a snapshot of history.  A lot of time capsules that have been opened recently were sealed in the 1940s or 1950s, times that we have clear pictorial evidence of.  We see the "Easy-Bake Oven" of yesteryear looks very similar to today's, though the color scheme has changed...
