Will Michigan Change The Drunk Driving Threshold?
The weekend is here, we've got cabin fever, the weather has broken and many feel like it's time to get out of hibernation. Anticipate a mass migration to bars & restaurants but remember to not drink and drive. In fact, you may soon have to monitor your alcohol intake to a lesser level.
According to ABC 12 in Saginaw, the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine is recommending lowering the blood-alcohol threshold from .008 to .005 in a government-commissioned report. Apparently, Utah as already lowered to .005. I guess we'll eventually get to the point where we can't have any alcohol in out system. And I'm not sure it's a bad thing. I just don't think it's a realistic thing. Get the whole story by clicking HERE.
