Four years ago, Police Officer Eric Zapata was killed in the line of duty. He dedicated his life to serving the people of Kalamazoo, and now his memory is being honored through the E-Z Memorial Run. This 5 K Fitness Walk and Run is set on the 4 year anniversary of the day Kalamazoo suffered this great loss. The E-Z 5K will be held on April 18th 2015 at 9 a.m. rain or shine at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

All proceeds continue funding scholarships for individuals enrolled in law enforcement and training of officers. All who register will receive an E-Z Memorial Run T-shirt. Register online at E Z 5k dot org ..or at KVCC the night before the race on Friday, April 17th beginning at 4pm. At 5 pm through the end of pre-registration, until 7pm, 107 7 WRKR will be there, with the Rock and Roll Road Machine, Harley Davidson, and your chance to sign up to win it!
