A former Western Michigan University football player, awaiting trial in Kalamazoo, has now been charged with a crime in Ohio.

MLive reports that 18-year-old Bryson White was arraigned in Butler County, Ohio this week after allegedly committing assault last weekend. He’s due for a hearing in Ohio December 13. More details of the alleged crime are not available at this time.

In August White, along with 18-year-old Ronald George, allegedly conducted an armed home invasion and robbery in Kalamazoo, which resulted in their removals from the WMU team. The pair are accused of entering an apartment in the 1300 block of California Ave, and threatening the woman inside with a gun before stealing items.

Both White and George are expected to stand trial soon in that case.
