The K-Wings will skate in two preseason contests against the Toledo Walleye in a home-and-home series which starts in Toledo on Friday, October 9 at 7:15 p.m. inside the Huntington Center and will conclude with the October 10 game at Wings West. The two games will act as a tune-up for the regular season and a final chance for players to crack the regular season roster.

Also set to be rolled out at the preseason game in Kalamazoo is the new K-Wings anthem, titled “Eat, Drink, and Play Hockey.”

The song was created by Overneath Creative Collective, a local Kalamazoo production house and recording studio, and will serve as a rally cry for fans at Wings Event Center this season. The lyrics pay homage to the Kalamazoo area and its love for good food, great beer, and fast-paced action on the ice. The full lyrics follow this release.
