As the college hockey season wraps up,  many college free agent players are signing contracts with teams.  The Kalamazoo Wings have signed former Michigan Tech Forward Tyler Heinonen.

According to the K-Wings, the former Husky just wrapped up his four years at Michigan Tech.  He scored 38 goals and had 28 assists for 66 points during his time in college.

He was also a member of the Muskegon Lumberjacks before his career at Michigan Tech.  While a Lumberjack, he had 64 points in 91 games before moving on to the Chicago Steel.

He is expected to join the team as they are on a road trip in Florida.   Your next chance to see the K-Wings at home before the playoffs is Friday, April 8th.   The final home game will be fan appreciation.
