Legoland to Open in Michigan

You read that right — the groundbreaking is underway for the new Legoland in Auburn Hills, Michigan, according to WILX!

How did they celebrate the groundbreaking, you ask?

They let a whole bunch of children with shovels due the honors of moving a shovel-full of bricks, because when you're Lego, is there any other way to do it?

In my opinion, Lego is the perfect toy. It can be anything you want! Just use your imagination, snap a few pieces together, and hours of fun await you.  It's a toy that hasn't been completely bastardized by technology, yet. Yes there are Lego movies, and Lego video games, but the tried-and-true building blocks of my youth are going strong.  That makes me both happy and hopeful for future generations.

So, to all of those who fancy themselves young-at-heart, who's up for a road trip?
