Mike’s Misheard Lyrics Jolts Stefani’s Favorite Sketch

Earlier this morning, Mike McKelly was talking about how he and his wife Karla finally figured out some lyrics to the song "Burning for You" by Blue Oyster Cult (which, by the way, is coming to Kalamazoo Ribfest in August).

We all know that relief — that feeling of accomplishment, knowing full-well we won't have to mumble through that part of the song again. You can sing it loud. You can sing it proud. "I've seen suns that were freezing and lives that were through!"

This reminded me of one my favorite sketches from our neighbors to the north. Ladies and Jellyspoons, may I submit, The Vacant Lot: "Blinded by the Light."
