In May 2022 Chicken Coop of Constatine, MI owner Tom Staines announced his retirement. After 40 years in operation the now-closed restaurant heads to auction.
The guitar was custom made by Wallace Detroit Guitars as an homage to the state, and city of Detroit. The custom-made guitar sold for nearly $3k and benefited a state-wide tourism charity.
The guitars are part of the Icons & Idols Trilogy: Rock 'n' Roll auction that also includes items from Kurt Cobain, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and more.
Fully electric, the scooter retails for $2,400, can go up to a 60 miles on one charge, and tops out at 30 mph. Perfect ride for tooling around downtown.
So, how about it? If those pieces match your egg-sthetic (I couldn't help myself), make your big today. Auction ends Saturday, September 15th at 8:00pm.
