The company that owns SeaWorld is making a hostile takeover bid for Cedar Fair, the parent company of Cedar Point, in Sandusky, Ohio. Most people in Michigan know Cedar Point or another amusement facility, Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon.

When Cedar Point announced this was the last season for the "Wicked Twister" rollercoaster, speculation began that the ride might end up at Michigan's Adventure.
Michigan is now open. More importantly for fans of amusement parks and roller coasters, Ohio has been open since the start of June. And Cedar Point says its ready to party. The delayed 150th anniversary celebration begins on Saturday.
