We all remember how terrible Motley Crue's last performance was at the Van Andel Arena.  They were plagued with technical problems, sound issues, and overall sloppy playing.

Sure, it was the first night of the tour, but like Mike McKelly said (and he's always right, just ask him), Motley Crue are professionals and this kind of stuff shouldn't happen, opening night or otherwise.

Alice Cooper opened the show and he blew the Crue off the stage with great sound, tight playing, and a great stage show.  Honestly, Motley Crue should be embarrassed that their opening act blew them off the stage.  But then again, it's Alice Cooper.  He's a tough act to follow.

So get ready for what I'm calling the "Motley Crue Makeup Show:"  October 18 at Van Andel.  And if the Crue disappoint (again), at least you'll get to see Alice Cooper.
