2019 College World Series To Feature Game Between Royals/Tigers

The College World Series takes place each year in Omaha,Nebraska featuring the best teams in College Baseball. Next year MLB will feature a game with the Royals and Tigers.

According to the story from Royals Review, the Associated Press announced the Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers will play a regular season game in Omaha next year. The game will take place before the start of the series in Omaha.

Normally the Royals play in Kansas City at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals Triple A team, Omaha Storm Chasers play in Omaha.

The College World Series is played each year at TD Ameritrade Park, which is also in Omaha. More details will be announced at an upcoming press conference.

There has been talk of Major League Baseball trying to tie the annual draft into this event. It is unclear if that will happen.

Next year's College World Series according to NCAA is scheduled to be on June 15th through June 26th.
