Tired of waiting for Spring?  A chance for you to head to the links this winter is coming up in March.

According to M-Live,  March 6th and 7th will be the annual U.P. Ice Golf Challenge and Glow Ball Challenge.

The event will take place on Moran Bay, off of Lake Huron in St. Ignace, Michigan.  The scramble will be on a 9 or 18 hole course depending on the ice cover.  Players are encouraged to use sleds to caddy clubs and use brighter golf  balls that are easier to find in the snow.

The glow challenge will take place at dusk and is a closet to the pin challenge.    There is an entry fee for the weekend of $40/ person for each two person team.

Click here to register for the event by February 29th.

The weekend will also include a free shuttle around town, lunch, dinner, gifts and prizes are included for the two days.

You can get more details on the two day event here.   A great event to get out and break in the clubs for another season.
