Celebrated documentarian Ken Burns has brought yet another insightful and provocative film to PBS, East Lake Meadows: A Public Housing Story. It chronicles stories from residents of the former Atlanta housing community, how they lived, and what they endured. The documentary raises serious questions about race and systemic poverty. Not only has Burns released a brand new film, he and PBS have also re-released his most iconic documentaries during this period of isolation, with a new series airing every Thursday, with more episodes found on the website. Looking for more ways to teach your family about history in an interesting and interactive way? Check out Ken Burns UNUM, which according to Burns, himself is, quote, is "...a new way to explore American history through scenes selected from across our over 40 films. We're constantly curating new topics, providing historical context for the conversations we are having today." We really don't deserve him.

Ken Burns will join the Rocker Morning Show just after 7:00, Thursday, April 9th. Don't miss the exclusive interview.
