Misfits, RATT, Tool – Check Out These Kalamazoo Concerts in Their Entirety

One of the biggest punches to the gut since isolation and social distancing began is how many concerts had to be cancelled or postponed. Now, I can't do anything about Tool pulling the plug on their May 5th Van Andel show, however, I can try to sate your fix for live music. Behold, friends! Misfits - Eagles Lodge - 1982

Sunday, September 26th, 1982, the Glenn Danzig fronted punk band Misfits took the stage at was the Eagles Lodge to promote their Walk Among Us album. The quality isn't all that fantastic, but then again, home video quality in the 80s was pretty terrible to today's standards. But still, 37:10 of your enjoyment.

RATT - American Rock Festival - 1984

In an interview with Mlive several years ago, Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer said he had fond memories of the May 27th stop in Kalamazoo on the band's first tour to support their breakout album Out of the Cellar. He mentioned it was a "pretty big payday for RATT," and no wonder. $25 got concert goers in to see seven of the hottests 80s hair bands. RATT was on the bill will Mötley Crüe, Night Ranger, Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Accept and Triumph.

Tool - Wings Stadium - 1998

Tool brought their acclaimed Ænemated tour to Wings Stadium in 1998, and brought the house down with some of their most recognized songs. "Forty Six & 2," "Stinkfist," 'Sober," "Eulogy," and "Ænema." This is the concert recording in it's entirety to fill that post-metal hole in your soul.
