Shinedown Keeps DC Strong

The "D.C." we're refering to is Dustin Colyer a 5 time cancer survivor who is making it his mission to help as many kids with cancer as he can.  Last year at our Meet & Greet with Shinedown, the band took quite a liking to Dustin and his story and wanted to do more.  So they flew him and his friends to N.C. and helped them produce a movie which is narrated by bass player Eric Bass.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2rQIH8iaEo

And coming up on May 24th, Shinedown and other celebrities from Sons Of Anarchy, MMA legend Jeremy Horn and The Forest Rangers will decend on the Kalamazoo, MI area for a Celebrity Motorcycle Ride, Celebrity Golf Tournament, Meet & Greet and concert all benefiting DC Strong and fallen Kalamazoo Police Officer Eric Zapata.  (Dustin's dad Jason was a fellow officer and good friend of E.Z.).

We consider ourselves fortunate to know Dustin, his family and his friends.  The world needs more young people like him.
