Did you know that there is a restaurant in Michigan where you can literally eat among several hundred dead animals? This is one of the few places where it’s not far-fetched that, while you’re eating your steak, you strangely feel the ghost of that cow peering over your shoulder.

The restaurant is actually located on the upper peninsula in Sault Ste. Marie called The Antlers. It’s a fitting name for a restaurant that has over 200 taxidermies of animals, including what one visitor highlighted were some oddity-type taxidermy animals:

The owner at the time, Dan Kinney spoke of their beginnings going back to 1948 when his Uncle Harold and brother Walt Sr. opened it as an ice cream parlor but was shut down after authorities discovered a bootleg bar underneath the building.
It’s not often you come across a restaurant so unique with so much history, so the fact that it is a Michigan says we gotta go inside this place at least once to be a Michigander. I wonder if the two-headed calf will let us take a selfies…
