The Apple Watch was unveiled on Monday and proved, once again, that the world just can't get enough gadgets.  Among the many things it can do, it also tells time.  Go figure.

Apple Watch release date is set for April 24, which the company revealed at its March 9 media event in San Francisco.

There weren't many surprises in terms of all the features.  Except, perhaps, that there is a $10,000 version. The lowest-price watch comes in at a mere $349. You can get all of the details from CNET.

So, what will make someone give up or add to their phone?  The device will undoubtedly become a status symbol and all those you'd expect to get one will.
