Veterans Day is a time for us to remember the servicemen and servicewomen who have served our country. Several Kalamazoo area restaurants are saying thank you with free meals. On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, was declared between the Allied nations and Germany in the First World War. Now known as Veterans Day, we honor those who serve and have served our country. Local restaurants are offering meals for these men and women. Here are a few listed on MLIVE.
