2018 Dollar Drive Through Record Smashing Success

I am so proud today of all the people who "showed up" literally and figuratively to the 7th Annual Rocker/On Staff USA Drive Through.  Just when you think you can't be surprised anymore and temper your expectations just in case, the RK-Army turns out and the rest of the community does too.  Charitable donations are down about 15% nationwide but not here.  Oh no.  Here we went from an event best total of $7,000 to nearly $14,000.

I know I speak for everyone here at RKR when I say how thankful we are to have listeners and fans who "get it".  We identified this problem and you came through in a way that blows us away.  Remember, we asked for at least $1 and took in over $1000 an hour!  That is incredible.  Of course, we couldn't have done it without our host Seelye Ford & Seelye Kia, our donation locations Old National Bank and Panera Bread and Haylett Auto & RV for their generosity.  And because of Loaves & Fishes buying power the nearly $14,000 turns into $140,000 worth of food for the 10,000 kids who go hungry every day in our area.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
