You know what I miss the most about pre-pandemic life? Being able to go to festivals and concerts. I'm not the biggest fan of being in large crowds, but I would do anything to have that back.

If you were bummed you had to miss the Art, Beer and Wine Festival in Jackson last year, I have some good news, it will be back this summer! There will be limited tickets available this year. The 16th annual event will be held Saturday, August 7, at the Ella Sharp Museum.

Last year's event was originally rescheduled for a later time, but due to the pandemic was canceled. In 2019, more than 5,000 people attended the festival. Event organizers hope that by following the states guidelines and restrictions the event will take place this August.

As with everything else, this year’s festival will look a little different. Safety and community is our top priority and visitors will still be able to enjoy a wide variety of art, beer, wine, and food.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, applications are open through April 15. As of right now, musician applications are not open. Those eligible to apply include artists, wineries, breweries, specialty drinks and food. If you have questions or would like more information you can email artbeerwinefestival.com

Mark your calendars or set an alarm in your phone for May 1, because that's when tickets go on sale. Because of the limited capacity, they will sell out quickly.
